Lemon Villa offers a taste of the real Corfu untouched by the neon glare of Britain-abroad culture. The villa sits on its own in a lush green valley filled with olive and fruit trees. It is set down a track which runs from the north western village of Avliotes. There is a terrace where you can shelter from the heat of the sun and enjoy your breakfast with the sound of birdsong and church bells chiming in the distance. At the end of the day you can watch the sun go down over the sea and, as darkness falls, the distant and sparsely populated islands of Mathraki, Othoni and Erikoussa can still be seen as the odd light dances across the Ionian Sea. Avliotes has a number of friendly tavernas and there is a square at the heart of the working village. It has remained unchanged while tourists have filled the lively resorts ... although Sidari is only three miles away if you are looking for a faster pace. A trip to Sunset Beach (one mile away) is not to be missed during your stay and the popular beach of Agios Stefanos is two miles away.

Accommodation: There is a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over. There is a kitchen and a lounge with an open fire.
