Careless Whisper is a traditional detached three-bedroom cottage, which sits beside the coast to coast cycle track. You can sit in the sunny front garden watching horses and cyclists pass on their way from the creekside village of Devoran to Portreath on the north coast, or enjoy a barbecue in the peaceful back garden. The cottage is set down a narrow country lane, with very little traffic to spoil the tranquillity. The villages of Chacewater and St Day are both a mile away, each with a number of pubs, a chippy, post office and general stores. North and south coasts are six miles away and also within easy reach are Truro, six miles, Falmouth, seven miles, and Redruth, four miles. |

Accommodation: Ground floor: large lounge diner with stairs to first floor; well-fitted kitchen with door to back garden; First floor: bedroom 1 with 4’6” bed; bedroom 2 with two 3’ beds; bedroom 3 with 3’ bed; bathroom with bath (shower over), basin and WC. Other amenities include: woodburner, colour TV and microwave. Duvets on beds with bed linen provided. Oil-fired central heating on standard settings included (unrestricted 24-hour use is an extra £30 per week). Changeover Friday. £100 damages deposit returned within a week of departure. There is parking for two cars. Secure bike shed. |
